Black Silver
Black Silver (The Navigator) or Silver Synth is an American Rapper.
The director Will Anderson first met Silver in a Los Angeles underground club in the summer of 1999 while filming the movie Hip Hop 2000. Among all the artists in the underground scene, the director immediately noticed this kid Black Silver was different. Quote: The dudes lyrics were pure dope, his stage presence was that of a seasoned professional, and he hyped the underground crowd to another level with every song. Who was this kid? And What record label was he signed to?
After pushing up on him with a camera on his shoulder and getting permission from the 2000 Crowz camp to get close enough to ask Silver a question, Will quickly learned Silver was an independent artist and very proud of that fact. Silver explained, I am seeking partnerships to further my career as an artist instead of a traditional record deal. What no record deal? Who was this talented kid?

Silver explained he was in the midst of developing a partnership with the big homey “Ice-T” and his new label Coroner Records and that partnership was being constructed via “Kool Keith” another iconic self-made and highly respected American Rapper. We had to know more!
In 1999 the film Hip Hop 2000 featured an exclusive interview with Ice-T and Black Silver just as their partnership was getting off the ground.
How would this unique partnership develop, what would it produce and how would it all turn out?
20 years later in 2022 the film Justa Geta Record Deal-IAMSN goes back for a second interview to ask Black Silver did “It All Make Senses Now”?
